Growth Matrix Studio and YouTube

Growth Matrix Studio (studio.growthmatrix.me) is an invite-only publishing tool operated by Jordan James Media. It is used by our team, and by businesses that invite us, to publish approved videos to YouTube channels they own or manage. Growth Matrix Studio uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What Studio accesses and stores

When you sign in to Studio with Google: your name and email address, so we know which workspaces you have been invited to.
When a channel owner connects YouTube (Google permissions to upload videos and to view the YouTube account): the channel ID, channel title and handle, an anonymous Google account identifier, and the access and refresh tokens Google issues. Tokens are held encrypted in our database vault.
The videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags and privacy setting your workspace approves for publishing, and, after upload, the YouTube video ID, link and upload status.

How Studio uses it

Only to show which channel is connected, upload the videos your workspace has approved, set their approved thumbnails, and confirm each upload has finished processing. Nothing is sent to YouTube until a person approves it in Studio. Studio does not read your comments, analytics, subscribers or other videos, does not show ads, and does not display YouTube data publicly. We do not sell YouTube data or share it with anyone except Google, which receives the videos you publish, and the providers that run Studio for us (Supabase and Cloudflare).

Cookies and device storage

Studio sets a sign-in cookie and keeps your sign-in session in your browser's storage so you stay signed in. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not serve third-party content or ads.

How long we keep it, and how to remove it

We keep the tokens and channel details only while the channel is connected, and Studio checks the connection with Google every day, refreshing the channel details at the same time.
Disconnect in Studio: Studio asks Google to revoke its access and deletes the stored tokens and channel details straight away. If the same Google account also connects another Studio destination, Studio deletes its own copy and tells you to remove access at Google, because Google revokes access for a whole account at once.
Revoke at Google: you can remove Studio's access at any time at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Studio detects this at its next daily check and deletes the stored tokens and channel details then.
Ask us: email info@jordanjamesmedia.com to have your Studio data deleted.

In every case we delete stored YouTube data within 7 days. Deleting data from Studio does not delete videos already published to YouTube; you manage those in YouTube Studio.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
